Ephesus Cultural Heritage Project
An AR-led visitor experience for the ancient city of Ephesus - reconstruction without rebuilding.
Ephesus required a careful approach: the site is a UNESCO heritage area where no physical intervention is permitted. We designed an AR layer that visitors can run on their phones as they walk the ancient city, with reconstructions of the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Artemis and the marble street rendered over their real surroundings. The project is in soft launch with the local municipality.
