A Private Villa - Mordoğan
A two-storey villa concept for a sloping plot, designed around a single cross-axis that frames a continuous sea view.
Mordoğan's hillside lots are awkward to build on - slopes shift dramatically across a single plot. We organised this villa around a single shear wall that absorbs the level change, freeing both floors to open fully toward the sea. Bedrooms tuck behind the wall on the cold side; living spaces and pool deck face south-west. The materiality is a quiet brief: lime plaster, dark steel, untreated oak.
